Korea, my sweet Korea

I do like this picture.
Its dynamism, space, frame.
I’m not a good photographer and my photos suffer from lack of ‘space’, perspective, however I find something catchy in this particular photo.
Something I was looking for a long time.
Even tough faces are lit in an ugly, shadowy way (the picture was taken around 2pm), and colours are not perfect, I still enjoy looking at it.
This photo does not only remind me of great time I spent in Korea.
And it's not only presents how busy is typical university area in Seoul.
It also shows how chaotic are Korean streets, with their colorful, garish signboards, lights, many cafés, bizarre crossroads...
I tend to look for chaos in my surroundings and in this fleeting, particular moment I managed to catch a bit of it. By chance of course.
The blue sky, the girl lost in thought, the man in the background, who is pulling funny face.
All these fragments will always remind me about my last day in Korea, when I was riding a bike whole day long, taking pictures and, I must shamefully admit, doing last ‘cute’ shopping. Cute Korea, my sweet Korea.
Few pictures from my last day.

[tak, to są ubranka dla psów]

P.S. Today I was deeply moved by my Korean friend. He did very simple and meaningful thing for me. Sometimes the simplest gestures are the most valuable. I will never forget it. Thank you Hoon!
Można by rzec, że autorka zdjęć uwieczniła ten cały chaos, pośpiech w nieruchome jotpegi:)
Do zobaczyska!
