HK: the tower block theory
Not sure why people go to Hong Kong, surely in South-east Asia there are more alluring locations, say nearby Chinese Yunnan or even Taiwan . Maybe it attracts urban freaks and people who look for a reflection of ex-British emporium? Personally I belong an urban freaks group, if you offer me a ticket to New York or to Peru , I will rather go for urban jungle than the moisty one. I had a chance to go to HK few months ago and explored some of its ridiculously high tower block estates. Got a view of the very new (and tallest!) ones as well as first estates built back in 1950's. Here is my insight into crazy (in)famous tower blocks of HK.
